The school aims to provide a broad and balanced curriculum for each child to ensure that the requirements of the British National Curriculum and the French Curriculum are met.
This amalgamated curriculum is the backbone of our own School Curriculum which is regularly reviewed in our endeavour to accommodate a variety of learners and their learning requirements. At Kingsworth Bilingual Primary School we publish an overview of our schemes of work which are aligned to the requirements set out by the British and the French Ministry of Education. Summary National Curriculum coverage sheets for Reading, Writing and Maths can be viewed by clicking on the links.
Opportunities are provided for children to work independently and collaboratively and great importance is placed on experiential learning; to this end we try to ensure that every opportunity is provided for a child to learn by investigation. The use of ICT is integral to our teaching with, laptops, computers, recording devices and cameras being used to bring learning to life.
We value each child's contribution and individuality and consider it important to satisfy educational, social and personal needs and to encourage a sense of self-esteem and pride in all our pupils.
