Head Student's Welcome
Welcome to Kingsworth International School,
My name is Laurent and I am Head Student this year,
Having been here since before the first day of school, Kingsworth matters to me on a personal as well as on an academic level. For the past three years I have seen it grow and develop into the home-like and supportive, yet demanding place it is today, and wish to see continue to flourish further—while still being here, and long after I have left.
In a school in which the students have so much of a voice, the honour of being Head Student certainly comes with its responsibilities, which, beyond representing the student body as one voice, include listening to all the individual voices in it, and having time to communicate with the youngest as well as as the oldest of that community at any time.
In order to coordinate the communication between the students and the teachers, we regularly have Student Council meetings with Class Representatives from every year in which we discuss the feedback we receive from fellow students, as well as the general atmosphere in the school, with either the Head- or Deputy Head Teacher present.
Should you have any questions that you would rather have answered by a student, you can either send me an e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org), or ask to see me at school, where I would be delighted to show you around and answer them.
