Middle School Key Stage 3 (Grades 6-8)
Our middle school follows the English National Curriculum, adapted for an international context, including French lessons appropriate to their level.
All pupils engage with a full core curriculum including English, mathematics, science, geography, history, art, music, drama, PSHCE and physical education.
Our program teaches students to think critically and creatively, promotes teamwork and independence, and prepares them for the next stage of their learning journey.
High school Key Stage 4 (Grades 9 & 10)
During the first two years of high school, students follow a program that blends core classes with option subjects, elevating student voice in their learning.
For the IGCSE program, in grades 9 and 10, students study five compulsory subjects to ensure that every student receives a well-rounded education that will prepare them for their future and provide pathways for success in any field. These subjects include mathematics, English, French, science including physics, chemistry and biology. Students then choose 3 subjects from a variety of options, allowing them to explore their interests more profoundly. Options block subjects include history, English literature, Spanish, physical education, geography, art, music and drama.
At the end of grade 10, students pass IGCSE examinations, giving them an internationally recognized academic achievement and opening the pathway to International A Level study.
Sixth Form Key Stage 5 (Grades 11&12)
Our students in grades 11 and 12 follow a rigorous and internationally recognised A level curriculum that prepares students for university and future careers.
Grade 11 students work at the AS level, choosing a maximum of five subjects for external examinations. AS subjects include English literature, English language, Spanish, physics, art, music, mathematics, biology, history, chemistry, economics, geography, French, and PE.
Grade 12 students continue their work at the A level in their chosen subject areas, generally reducing the number of subjects for more focused external examinations at the end of the year.
All students are required to attend university counselling and physical education lessons to ensure that they are prepared academically, emotionally, and physically for their future.
